Record half for Finite Group

Record Half Year for Finite Group in Exceptional Market

Finite Group Managing Director Tracy Thomson says improved overall market conditions in the six months ended December 31 have led to a “record half” for the Group.

Group revenues grew by 14% and Gross Profit by 27%; with a sterling performance from the Group’s three Australian and New Zealand specialist recruitment divisions, Finite, Rowben Consulting and Finite920, collectively contributing almost half of Group revenue. Permanent Fees were up by a massive 82%; and Gross Profit up by 24% year on year.

“Improved overall market conditions have resulted in a record half for the Group with Australian and New Zealand employers still experiencing difficulty finding good quality Tech staff in sufficient numbers, particularly during lockdown” said Ms Thomson.

“Client demand for our award winning services continues to grow at pace, with Government (Federal, National (NZ) and State), Banking & Finance, Utilities and the large Tech Vendors keeping our teams across ANZ extremely busy. Our push into Insurance and Superannuation through our Rowben Consulting brand has been highly successful, as has our continued expansion within the Defence Technology and Engineering space, both directly and indirectly through major Defence Primes’.”

“More broadly, we remain well positioned over the medium term, with our hybrid work model, cutting-edge learning and development program and extended community outreach program proving very popular with staff in terms of both retention and attraction, adding to our renowned high performing service delivery culture.”

The Group reported revenues of $236m compared with $207m for the same period a year earlier.
